Tell us about your experience with Telkom
I took a Telkom Contract in October 2017, ever since then I've been an unhappy customer. They did not debit my account end of October, and when I called in to enquire about this they said they will debit the following month, which is end of November. So this means that I would be paying for both October and November. Month end came they did not debit again they debited on the 9th of December amount of R1400 for both months and on the 12th of December they debited again for December. Mind you these were not the dates we agreed upon. After that I was told that I must pay the rejection fee of R200 for the unpaid debit order.I asked them why they did not debit because I had money in my account. Again in January they did not debit and on the 5th of February I received an sms saying I will pay R1598.94 at the end of February, I started calling in their Billing department. The first person I spoke to was Sphelele, no help. Then it was Dikeledi, no help. The last one was Muntu of which he told me that he has opened a case and my case number was 22481994. He said they will call me back to resolve this issue but today I received an sms saying they tried to debit R1598.94 and I had no money in my account. Now this is going to reflect badly on my credit history and I honestly don't know what I did to deserve this kind of abuse from TELKOM.
