Steers

Tell us about your experience with Steers

I have phoned Steers toll-free customer service line and receive stupid answers that I will get a callback. We have a SERIOUS episode of LISTERIOSIS in our province. My experience is such I often go to Gabriel Road STEERS for a WHACKY WEDNESDAY as it is for me a treat. As a pensioner, I always look for specials and this deal allows me to eat for two days. On the 21st February 2018, I went to buy this product and whilst waiting noticed NONE of the staff PREPARING the rolls, patties, lettuce, and tomato was wearing gloves. They picked up the food with bare hands TO MY HORROR the chap that was putting mine together wiped his dripping nose on the back of his hand and CONTINUED with my order. I called the manager, who wanted to say something to him and I told her to leave it as I could see a "racist " situation arising. Her and I BOTH agreed this was a health issue pure and simple. I took my burgers home and opened them. I just could NOT eat them after seeing what I did so phone IMMEDIATELY THROUGH TO THE CUSTOMER SERVICE and laid a complaint which I was ASSURED was logged and someone would phone me within 48 hours. NO ONE DID. I phoned again on the 28th February and was told someone did but my phone was NOT ANSWERED. WHAT A LIE !!! My phone hangs permanently around my neck as I am slightly deaf and there ARE NO MISSED CALLS. STEERS DO NOT CARE ABOUT HYGIENE OR THEIR CUSTOMERS. LISTERIOSIS IS DEADLY I AM STILL WAITING FOR A PHONE CALL 11 days later
