I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my wife for our anniversary, the vase, however, was a metal handbag design and so II had written my whole message based on the fact that i was giving her a 'Handbag'. Much to my dismay, they called me the afternoon of the expected delivery and told me that their supplier in our area didn't have such a vase, i indicated that i was not happy with that and that my message was based on that vase, they said they understand my disappointment however they can only give her a mixed bunch of flowers in a glass vase, but that they would send me a voucher. I was was very upset until i realised that i was in a bigger city for the day, so i called back to request that they allow me to collect the original handbag style bouquet from a supplier in Durban or PMB, they said this was not possible and that they were going to send me a voucher! I then asked what value the voucher would be and they said it was just a voucher for delivery on my next order. At this rate i have no intention of making a new order on NetFlorist! i indicated that i was not happy with that, and that . They assured me that i would still receive the 'handbag' bouquet but just not on my anniversary, they said it would be delivered 2 days later.
What about the experience did you like/dislike the most?
it was a ridiculous idea to think that i would accept a R60 voucher for a R520 mistake on their part.
Do you have any suggestions on how they can improve?
They should I form customers in time if an order can not be fulfilled
