Went to pay my mom's acc- gave the cashier the acc number. Asked her to verify acc holder's details as I was not so sure because I was using the slip which was a bit faded.
She told me not to worry if it's a wrong acc number she will just reverse the transaction immediately. I then paid and again asked her to verify again who the acc holder is and to my surprise, it was not my mom's names. I expected her to cancel and allocate the money paid into the correct acc number but she just said: " oh its a wrong acc unfortunately I cant reverse it".
What about the experience did you like/dislike the most?
I hate the fact that I asked her beforehand to verify for me as I always do when I pay with a till slip. She ignored my request and reassured me that should there be a fault, she'll deal with it immediately.
After that incident, she just proceeded with her job and called the next customer as if nothing happened and asked me to move aside from the queen so she can help other people.
Do you have any suggestions on how they can improve?
They should acknowledge their mistake and help to rectify the mistake.
